Here is a fine example of a civil war cannon. These guys make huge booms and great clouds of smoke when fired. I can’t imagine what it must have been like living through one of these battles! Pea Ridge National Military Park just north of Rogers Arkansas has quite a few of these on display. Get out and see them if you have the chance.

Sometimes taking an evening stroll in the park really pays off! This sunset was seen on just that, a nice evening stroll around a small park near our house.
